Travel Advice

The Cote d’Azur is a perfect holiday spot all year round. A check of the weather indicates that every season has something to offer. There is ample direct transportation to Nice both via air and rail. Travel in and around the region is facilitated by well maintained coastal roads, great regional highways, and a Super Highway when the final destination and nothing in between is sought. Both bus and train stations are a five and ten minute walk from the villa via a sheltered public walkway.

The climate on the Cote d'Azur is classically Mediterranean, characterized by warm, dry summers with lots of sunshine. The heat is never unbearable as steady, ocean breezes temper the climate. The sea is warm enough to swim in well into the Fall months. Winters are typically mild on the coast and temperatures rarely reach below 40°F on the coast. However, just one hour away in the Alpes Maritimes, snow is abundant for great skiing, usually beginning in December.
